Connect to Resource

The scope of the third edition, which began publication in 2007, has been enlarged to include comprehensive coverage of Islam in the twentieth century and of Muslim minorities all over the world.

Also available, under 'Related works'  are the second edition of the EI (1955-2005), with its glossary and index of terms, and the Historical Atlas of Islam.

We do not have access to the 1st edition, nor the French edition.

NOTE: Due to low use and high cost, our previous subscription to "Index Islamicus" was cancelled in July, 2016, and funds directed to this resource.
