Ethnic NewsWatch is a full-text database of American & Canadian publications, including newspapers, independent press, scholarly publications, magazines, journals, dissertations, and reports. It has more than two million full-text articles from 390 publications. Publications are characterized as "ethnic, minority, and native press" including "Native American, African American, and Hispanic American periodicals"

Coverage from 1959 onwards

This trial provides access to both the current volumes and "Ethnic NewsWatch: A History", which provides historical coverage of from 1959-1989.

"Designed to provide the other side of the story, Ethnic NewsWatch titles offer additional viewpoints from those proffered by the mainstream press".
