About |
PubMed (1946 - present) Alternate Titles: Medline Note: Direct link to full text or UBC's Citation Linker using the "Download PDF" icon on PubMed. Alumni and non-UBC users will have limited access to full-text articles from off-campus. My NCBI update - Sept 2021: My NCBI is in the process of transitioning from NCBI-managed credentials to federated/3rd party credentials, which can be linked to an existing My NCBI account (FAQ). UBC researchers are encouraged to use ORCID credentials to log in to My NCBI. ORCID enables transparent and trustworthy connections between researchers, their contributions, and their affiliations by providing a unique, persistent identifier for individuals to use as they engage in research, scholarship, and innovation activities. Other federated sign-in options include Google, Microsoft, and Facebook. PubMed.gov is the U.S. National Library of Medicine's free, web searchable database which includes MEDLINE, which is the premier international index to biomedical research covering nearly 6000 scholarly journals and indexing over 30 million citations from 1946 to present. Pubmed's Clinical Queries provides quick access to the Clinical Trials in the database. My NCBI retains user information and database preferences to provide customized services for many NCBI databases, including PubMed. Create a free account to save searches and results. |
