ClinicalKey gives access to Elsevier's current medical and surgical content including:

Content is semantically enriched using Elsevier's proprietary medical taxonomy – EMMeT.  ClinicalKey is designed for quick answers to clinical questions as well as easy access to in-depth information across more than 30 clinical specialties.

ClinicalKey now offers an app for Android and iOS.  Links and instructions are here.

  1. A free ClinicalKey account is required.  Click 'Register' at the top right of the ClinicalKey landing page to create a free account.  Please ensure you use your ubc.ca email address.  
  2. To access subscriber content from off campus, you must also activate a remote access profile using your ubc.ca email address at this link.  You will receive an email confirming your remote access activation.  This information will be added to your profile and you should then be able to access all subscriber content via the app.  This may take a few minutes and you may need to sign out of the app and sign in again.  

If you do not wish to provide this information to ClinicalKey to enable the app, all content is also available from off-campus using a regular browser of your choice (regular UBC Library login).
