Database for the History of Contemporary Chinese Political Movements 1949-

The database provides full-text primary source materials relating to the Chinese political movements after the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949.

The database includes four different collections. Sources include government documents, directives, bulletins, speeches by Mao Zedong and other officials, major newspaper and magazine editorials, and other types of documents.

Do note all the documents are in Chinese, but the database platform can be switched to English where document titles can be browsed in English.
