Abacus holds the Library's collection of open and licensed data sets from around the world, primarily public use microdata (PUMFs) from censuses, other social and health surveys, public opinion polls, and spatial data for GIS. Access to some data is restricted to UBC users, but many datasets are open access and reference materials such as user guides and codebooks are open to all users. Important research data sets in Abacus:

Abacus is maintained by the Data Services team, Research Commons, Koerner Library.

 Access open only to UBC students, faculty, staff and on-site Library users (other restrictions may apply)
