CEIC China Premium and Daily Database

The CEIC platfrom provides access to two databases: China Premium and the Daily Database. Users can explore the data online, create graphs and visualizations, and export to a variety of formats.  

  • China Premium: this is the larger of the two databases with more than 345,000 time series extending as far back as 1949.  Data is available for 23 macroeconomic sectors; 20 industry sectors; 2000 counties, 287 prefecture level cities, 31 provinces, 53 prefecture level regions, and 4 municipal districts.
  • Daily Database: a smaller database with current international data on a range of financial measures including lending rates, foreigh exchange rates, and commodity prices. 

China Premium is a database of Chinese economic data containing: Over 344 000 time series with coverage as far back as 1949; 23 macroeconomic sectors; 20 industry sectors; 2000 counties, 287 prefecture level cities, 31 provinces, 53 prefecture level regions, and 4 municipal districts.

 

World Trend Plus contains: 345 000 time series; Global Economic Monitor with 100 economic indicators for 115 economies; ASEAN Economic Monitor with economic indicators on 10 ASEAN member states; Country and Regional Forecasts with 5 year projections for 192 countries, plus population projections to 2100 for 233 countries; and Commodities Market Data with forecasts for the Americas, Europe, MENA, and Asia.
