Chemical Abstracts is one of the most comprehensive databases for chemistry and chemical engineering, biochemistry, biotechnology, electrochemistry, metallurgy and materials science and pharmacology.

The Chemical Abstracts Author Index, Subject Index, Chemical Substance Index, Molecular Formula Index, and Index Guide has been transferred to the ASRS facility located in the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre. The call number is QD1 A51.

The print Chemical Abstracts covers the years 1907 to 2003.
